I am interested in the relationships created between objects, and how the interaction of use informs our perception of them. In this body of work, I am exploring the relationship we have with handmade ceramic objects, which is inherently different from the one we share with other art objects. It is personal, interrelational and deeply intimate. I create work to challenge our perceptions of art and craft, and am engaged in an exploration of how the materiality and display of a thing informs our conception of it.
