Ann Dinwiddie Madden

“When I’m photographing a family, or any subject, I try to get authenticity and intimacy.  I don't really do sea grass and prom poses.  I capture people at play.”

Her photographs have been shown at the Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, CO, A. Smith Gallery in Johnson City, TX, Mr. Henry's in Washington, DC (the same place Roberta Flack launched her singing career), The Creative Edge MAC Show at the Mockingbird Cafe in Bay Saint Louis, MS, multiple juried shows at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA, at the Gail Keenan Center at Coast Episcopal School in Long Beach, MS and at SLowExposures 2013 in Pike County, GA where she was awarded 3rd Plce for "First Position."



Born and raised in New Orleans, Ann has studued in Paris, DC,and New York City.  She now splits her time behind the camera between NOLA and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
